Have a barn or garage full of "rusty gold?" "American Pickers" is looking for you.

The longtime reality series will be filming episodes in Illinois in July. The show is seeking leads on antiques collections and colorful characters throughout the state.

Whether it's vintage advertisements, toys or vehicles, the pickers are looking for unusual items — and owners — to appear in the History Channel series.

Collectors interested in being considered for the show can call or text 646-493-2184 or email AmericanPickers@cineflix.com. They are asked to include their full name, city, contact information, and a brief description of their collection. Collections must be privately owned. Stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions, businesses and anything open to the public will not be considered.

Since 2010, "American Pickers" has followed antiques and collectibles picker Mike Wolfe and colleagues as they travel the country in search of items to buy (or "pick") for restoration and resale in their shops, for clients, or for their personal collections. In the process, they often amusingly interview and haggle with sometimes-quirky collectors and share insights on the items — the "rusty gold" often found amid "grimy junk."
